Joan Lindsey is the Founder and President of Lindsey Communications, a leading media interview training and media advisement firm that prepares high-visibility conservative individuals and organizations for strategic and effective message delivery through national media vehicles. Lindsey Communications is guided by a mission to restore, promote, and protect constitutional values of faith, family and freedom through media.
From 1977 to 1992, Joan was the Senior Vice President of Media Communications for Pepsi Cola products in Southern California. Her innovative, strategic, and award-winning media and marketing programs were instrumental in leading the privately held bottling and distribution group to a top position nationally. Joan founded Lindsey Communications in 1992 to bring the same strategic media expertise to the world of conservative policy. This is accomplished primarily by training recognized issues experts, legislative office holders and candidates, as well as key conservative voices in the arenas of government, education, and national ministry to message superbly well in national media interviews and public speaking engagements. Her background in corporate media strategy, psychology, economics, and consumer behavior infuses her organization’s training with a unique insight into the melding of media and policy. This highly specialized training equips her clients with an exceptional ability to handle even the most challenging media interviews with persuasion, clarity, and appeal.
Joan’s clients have appeared on all major news networks, such as CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, HLN, and programs including CBS Evening News, Dateline NBC, Good Morning America, The Today Show, The O’Reilly Factor, Hannity, and The Kelly File, as well as radio programs across the country in addition to nearly every major news publication in the U.S.
Joan is also the Founder and President of the Lindsey Foundation, whose mission is also to positively affect the world of media. It employs a twofold approach; first to influence the development of Hollywood entertainment product to embrace conservative Christian values. Secondly, the foundation designs and installs state-of-the-art broadcast studios in-house for strategically selected, key conservative organizations to amplify their visibility and voice.
Joan has a B.A. in Psychology, and an M.A. in Behavioral Science/Economics. Lindsey Communications is located in Santa Barbara, California. She is married to Jim, and they have three children and three grandchildren.
Vice President, Lindsey Communications
Kielle Horton is Vice President of Lindsey Communications, a media training firm which equips national key conservative voices to communicate positively in the national media. In that position, she provides technical expertise, broadcast messaging research, as well as serves as associate trainer.
Kielle brings a decade of solid business experience to Lindsey Communications, having founded and run a consumer based business that brought media coverage, accolades and awards. An expert in the role media plays in the free market system, her years of business and media experience inspired her to join Lindsey Communications in 2008, first as a project consultant, then rising to the position of Vice President.
She has experience in all areas of business and marketing, specializing in consumer behavior and retail trends and brings a technological focus to media training. Her unique combination of education and experience allows her to consult on a wide spectrum of issues, including social and business media in the political arena, messaging to millennials, emerging media trends, and the impact the media has on our culture today.
Kielle Horton has a BA in Journalism and Education from Pepperdine University and an MA in Education and Psychology from the Pepperdine Graduate School of Education and Psychology.
